Car Polishing & Ceramic Coating

Remove swirl marks and protect your paintwork

Machine polishing and ceramic coating in the East Midlands, at your house or office.

Step 1 of 3

About 30 seconds

Which level are you after?

Not sure which? Pick the closest and we'll advise when we call.

No obligation. We never pass your details on.

Paint looking dull or full of swirls in the sun? Washing doesn't fix it.

You only notice them in direct light — which is exactly when everyone else does.

The problem isn't dirt. It's thousands of microscopic scratches in the clear coat, and no amount of washing will take them out — because washing is what put them there.

Or perhaps you've just bought a new car, and you want to stop that happening to it in the first place. Most cars leave the dealership with swirls already in them from the prep before handover. You wait months for it, collect it, and the damage has already started — it's just too fine to see until the sun hits it.

Every wash adds a few more.

Sponges, brushes, automatic washes, drying towels. Each one leaves fine scratches, and they build until the paint looks flat.

Grit dragged across the panel by a sponge. A dried leaf. A hedge on a narrow lane. One at a time it's nothing. Over three years it's a layer — and that layer is why the colour looks grey instead of deep.

Machine polishing is the only thing that removes them.

A fraction of the clear coat is levelled off so the scratches are gone — not filled in to reappear in a month.

Once they're gone, light stops scattering and the colour comes back with real depth. On a three-year-old car that's the biggest change you'll ever see in it. On a new one it means more clarity in the paint, and far more gloss than it left the factory with.

Your clear coat is thinner than a sheet of paper.

There's only so much of it and it doesn't grow back. Get it wrong and the fix is a respray.

Which is why we don't guess. Paint depth is checked before anything touches the panel, we test on a small section first, and we take the least we need to take to get the result.

It's also why the cheapest quote is rarely the cheapest outcome. A machine in the wrong hands takes paint you can never put back.

Correction without protection lasts months, not years.

A ceramic coating seals the corrected finish, so the next two years of washing don't undo the work.

Think of the correction as a reset. Without protection, the same thing that caused it is still happening every wash — and in a year you'd be back in the same spot.

A coating sits on top of the clear coat and takes the abuse instead of your paint. Bird lime and tree sap wipe off instead of etching in. Road salt doesn't sit there through winter. It stays cleaner between washes — and when it is washed, it's a far safer wash.

The bit most people don't know

A lot of swirls happen at the drying stage — even microfibre towels can leave very fine scratches. On coated cars we blow-dry most of the vehicle instead, which cuts the risk again.

Two identical cars. Three years later, one's worth more.

What correction and coating are actually worth — in money, and every time you walk up to it.

Same mileage, same spec. One's been corrected and coated. It's the one that photographs well, that a buyer doesn't haggle down over the paint — and it's worth noticeably more for it.

The coating costs a fraction of that difference. On a £70,000 car you're looking at roughly 1% of its value, in return for years of protection.

And in the meantime: you get in on a summer evening and it looks like it did the day you picked it up. If not better.

Cars we've brought back.

Corrected and coated, shot in daylight — where the finish has nowhere to hide.
